- Put some dried grounds in a porous bag and they can eliminate bad odors from the refrigerator, from the wardrobe, or from the passenger compartment of the car. If the smell of coffee is too strong, just add two drops of an essence of your liking.
- In the garden, if you mix the grounds with seeds or near seedlings, it helps to keep insects and snails away.
- They can also be used as a fertilizer in the garden because they contain many minerals such as calcium, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and others. Coffee grounds help lower the pH of the soil and are useful for plants suitable for an acid pH.
- The dried coffee grounds can be mixed with coconut or olive oil and used for face masks or for the treatment of cellulite.
- They can be blended with ground coffee and coffee beans, placed in a metal container, a burned to chase away mosquitoes, bees and wasps.
- To remove the ants, just put bowls with coffee grounds mixed with vinegar in places where ants pass.
