The flat white is a coffee drink originally from Australia but also popular in New Zealand. It is prepared with a double espresso and frothed milk with a very liquid cream of a thickness less than that of a cappuccino, in a cappuccino cup decorated according to the Latte Art technique.

The sensory characteristics change, the double espresso changes the COFFEE/MILK ratio compared to the cappuccino, giving prevalence to coffee both in terms of aromas and flavors which are accompanied by a good cream of milk.
